HELP & FAQ

Stay in the flow.

Find an answer, then get back to your music.

How do I start?

Tap Add music, choose an audio file, and press Play if your browser asks. Pick a scene in Visuals. Tap Immerse to fill the browser with it. You can also play the built-in demo.

What’s the difference between Auto-change and Random visual?

Auto-change visuals keeps choosing a new scene every 24 seconds. Random visual chooses a different scene once. Neither changes your music track. Music shuffle lives under Queue & playback.

Why do visuals move when music is paused?

The visuals have their own continuous motion. Playing audio adds musical reactions to that movement. There is no separate “Ambient preview” feature to switch on.

Does Immerse really fill the screen?

Immerse expands the visual to the entire available browser viewport and hides the editor. Where supported, it also requests native fullscreen. Tap the visual to reveal controls; tap the corner fullscreen button to exit. On a computer, Esc also exits. iPhone Safari may keep its own address and system bars. For a browser-free window, use Safari’s Share → Add to Home Screen, then open High VIB from that icon.

Can I use Spotify, Apple Music or another streaming app?

Local audio files work directly, including with headphones. Streaming-service downloads are usually protected files. On a supported desktop browser, choose Streaming apps and share a tab with audio. On a phone, use Listen live to hear music playing through nearby speakers. The microphone is optional and separate from file playback.

How do photo visualizers work?

Add a photo and choose Subject echoes, Orbital mandala or Acid trails. High VIB estimates the foreground on your device, then multiplies and animates the cutout with the music. Bass changes spread and scale; rhythm drives bursts; frequency detail moves individual copies. The first cutout takes a moment to prepare. Clear foregrounds work best. If detection misses the subject, try another photo or a full-image effect.

Are photos uploaded? Do I need an AI subscription?

No. The foreground model is downloaded to your browser when you use a subject effect. Your photos are processed locally. There is no per-photo AI service or subscription. Imported photos stay in this tab and need to be added again after a refresh.

How do geometry and touch work?

Open Geometry and turn on a pattern. Each layer has independent smallest/largest sizes, expansion/contraction timing, 3D tilt/orbit, line pulse and optional strobe. Try Breathe, 3D orbit or Explode at the top of Geometry. Fragments reform over about 2.6 seconds. In Touch & feel, enable the touch dial and drag around the center to turn it. Haptic vibration is device-dependent; Safari on iPhone does not expose programmable vibration. Optional click sounds and visual feedback are available.

What do the sound layers do?

They add tones, binaural beats, pulsed tones or noise to your music—or play on their own. Each has its own volume. Binaural beats need stereo headphones. Choosing 432 Hz or 528 Hz adds a tone; it does not retune a song.

Why is strobe disabled on my device?

High VIB follows your system’s Reduce Motion preference. When that is enabled, strobe is disabled. Strobe is always optional; it synchronizes enabled layers at no more than three flashes per second.

Can I sign in with Apple, Google or email?

The current host provides ChatGPT sign-in. Open Menu → Sign in / join and choose from the methods available on that secure sign-in page. High VIB does not yet have separate, independently configured Apple or Google OAuth buttons. You can use the visualizer without an account.

What does an account save?

Your display name and optional email-update preference. Updates are off by default, and you can turn them off anytime. The preference is stored, but newsletters are not being sent yet. Saved boards currently stay in the browser where you made them; account-based board syncing is not available.

Can I save or record what I make?

Use Save board for visual and sound settings. Local files are not included. Share board settings creates a link to those settings. Snapshots and supported browser recordings include enabled visuals, photos, camera effects and geometry. Recording formats depend on the browser.

Why does performance vary?

Visuals, camera tracking and foreground detection use your device’s graphics and processing resources. Under Visuals → Visual motion & response, choose Performance quality if needed. A modern browser with hardware acceleration gives the best experience. Foreground detection runs once per active photo rather than on every animation frame.

Keyboard shortcuts

Space plays or pauses. ← / → change visuals. R chooses a random visual. F enters or exits immersion. H hides stage controls. Shortcuts pause while you are typing or using a dialog.

How do touch worlds work?

Open Visuals and choose a world. Move to stir, hold to orbit and swipe to scatter. One finger guides the first stream and a second finger guides the other. Particle path adds circles, triangles, squares, polygons or petals. Mirrors reflects or repeats the result. Open Shape & orbit settings to change sides, radial axes, rotation, path lines and orbit size. Higher gravity tightens paths and strengthens circulation; lower it for looser drift. The hand button brings these controls into immersion.

Where are the creative tools?

Music, Visuals, Geometry and Sounds are directly available on the board. Under On your board, tap a layer name to open its controls. Its separate power switch mutes that layer and keeps the settings. Clear board stops music, sounds and camera, and clears the active visual layers. Imported files, pictures and saved boards are kept. Display and exports are in Visuals → Display & export.

Are the rain, ocean, fire and night sounds recordings?

They are original synthesized atmospheres, continuously generated on your device. Each can be layered, muted, panned, filtered and mixed independently. They are not field recordings. A recorded nature-sound library is planned separately.

What happened to the pads?

The pad instrument has been removed from the public experience while it is developed further. It does not load or run in the current board.
